  • Alma Mater: University of Minnesota-Duluth (BS, 1989) / Rider University (MA, 1997)
  • Played three years at Minnesota-Duluth before becoming a student assistant for the 1988-89 season
  • Began his coaching career with assistant positions at New Hampshire (under Jim Boylan) and D-II Saint Anselm
  • Spent seven years as an assistant under Kevin Bannon – four seasons at Rider and then three more at Rutgers
  • Final assistant position was a two-year stint at Marquette under head coach Tom Crean
  • Served as the head coach at Green Bay for eight seasons
    • Led the Phoenix to CBI in 2009 and 2010, the first postseason berths for the program since 1996
  • Hired as the new head coach of the Toledo Rockets on March 30, 2010
    • Has led the Rockets to five NITs, one CBI and one CIT berth during his tenure
    • Won or shared seven MAC regular season titles over the last ten seasons; named MAC COY in 2021 and 2023
