You know, sometimes for the best idea to be implemented, it does not have to involve the norm. Toyota seems to be understanding that with its new invention and upgrade. Additionally, a good idea does not have to make noise; it can be still and quiet and still have an impact or appeal within the market. The secret is making sure that the market understands and grasps the idea. Toyota is a car brand that has never disappointed. Its ideas, renovations and developments always appeal to a greater percentage of its customers and market. That is what this new make is all about.

Skip hydrogen, gas and electricity; it is not always about them

As the world is moving rapidly, running and trying by all means possible to reduce carbon emissions from vehicles, hydrogen, gas, and electricity have been the talk of the global town. Even in the energy sector, these resources have been perceived as the gods of renewable resources. But that is not it. Toyota has made sure to prove us wrong by introducing something different, similar to this new fuel of the future engine.

What makes Toyota unique and winning? It takes a different path. This is from car designs to engines and now, even fuel types. Therefore, it has ensured that it introduces a new model vehicle for a certain target market but also alongside a new fuel type that is different from hydrogen and all, something you would not think Toyota would consider initiating. Here it is.

Introducing the cleanest non-plug-in vehicle available: Toyota’s new Aygo X Hybrid

At first glance, you will see something different, a revised version of the car, still similar to the old one that made noise within the market. It is small, neat, clean and targeted for those who prefer such a small, petite, fashionable ride. Underneath the stylish, small look, there is a fuel resource that has nothing to do with what you are expecting or thinking. This Aygo X is a full hybrid.

It has a small/mini 1.0 L fuel engine and gets its inspiration from the Toyota Yaris. The car brand has also decided to say goodbye to its manual gearbox petrol version, making it 100% hybrid. Oh, and guess what? It is self-charging. Therefore, no need to worry about sockets or the disappointment when you realise you forgot to charge it, and no need to learn a new thing on how to operate the car, which can be frustrating at times.

What to expect from the new Aygo X Hybrid

  • The Aygo X will have its two batteries stacked side by side.
  • It will be able to go from 0 to 62 mph in “less than 10 seconds”.
  • The CO₂ emissions will be 82 grams.
  • Toyota’s Aygo X is quieter and smoother to drive. Making an appealing experience for its consumers.

Toyota expressed and said,

“This refreshed Aygo X could attract even more buyers with its 114 bhp 1.5L petrol-electric hybrid setup – borrowed from the larger and more expensive Yaris and Yaris Cross.”

Toyota thought outside the box this time around. In a world screaming for electric batteries and vehicles, Toyota managed to set aside all that noise and pressure and thought about how to stand out in the market, and introducing a fully hybrid fuel vehicle was well thought out. While this car is not the stylish, huge SUV that we see these days, it is something small and compact and still has an impact on the market. The moral of the story: big does not mean excellent; even small vehicles have that too. We can see how versatile Toyota has been, even with its water and steam fuel engine.
