- Born November 21, 1970
- Hometown: Seattle, Washington
- Alma Mater: University of Montana (BA, 1994)
- Played one year at Chaminade before transferring to Montana, where he played for head coach Blaine Taylor
- After graduation, returned to Seattle to found a youth organization called Fastbreak Basketball Association
- Started coaching in 1998 with a three-year run as the head coach at Sammamish HS in Seattle
- Was the head coach at Green River CC (Auburn, WA) for two years before joining Taylor’s staff at Old Dominion in 2003
- Five years later, DeCuire joined Mike Montgomery‘s staff at Cal; worked as an assistant with the Golden Bears for six seasons
- Hired in May 2014 to become the new head coach at his alma mater Montana
- Led the Grizzlies to a Big Sky title in year one, going to the NIT and following it up with a CBI berth a year later
- His 2017-18 and 2018-19 squads won Big Sky regular season and Tournament titles, earning back-to-back NCAA bids
