  • Hometown: Seattle, Washington
  • Alma Mater: University of Montana (BA, 1994)
  • Played one year at Chaminade before transferring to Montana, where he played for head coach Blaine Taylor
  • After graduation, returned to Seattle to found a youth organization called Fastbreak Basketball Association
  • Started coaching in 1998 with a three-year run as the head coach at Sammamish HS in Seattle
  • Was the head coach at Green River CC (Auburn, WA) for two years before joining Taylor’s staff at Old Dominion in 2003
  • Five years later, DeCuire joined Mike Montgomery‘s staff at Cal; worked as an assistant with the Golden Bears for six seasons
  • Hired in May 2014 to become the new head coach at his alma mater Montana
