WCC basketball programs and current men’s head coaches
The conference, originally formed in 1952, has remained relatively steady in terms of membership and size throughout most its history. Since 1980 when Seattle left the conference, only two major changes have occurred: the addition of BYU in 2011 and the re-joining of Pacific in 2013. All ten member schools – which span across the states of California, Oregon, Utah & Washington – are private institutions with religious affiliations.
