- Hometown: Miller Place, New York
- Alma Mater: Dowling College (BA, 1994 & MA, 1995)
- Coached at Sullivan County CC from 1998-2001, earning an overall record of 90-10
- Made it to the Final Four of the NJCAA Tournament twice (1999, 2001) including one runner-up finish (2001)
- Joined Scott Beeten’s staff at Albany in 2001 and took over as head coach when Beeten was fired in December of the same year
- Led the program for a total of twenty seasons, taking the Great Danes to five NCAA Tournaments, two CITs and one CBI, and winning two America East titles and five America East Tournament crowns
- Brown and Albany decided to mutually part ways in March 2021; Brown leaves with an overall record of 315-295
- In October 2021, Brown was hired as head coach and GM of the Albany Patroons in the TBL (The Basketball League)
- The Patroons were Eastern Conference Champions and finished as playoff runners-up; Brown stepped down in December 2022
- Brown was hired as the head women’s basketball coach at D-II College of Saint Rose (also in Albany, NY) in June 2023
