  • Alma Mater: Sterling College (BS, 1995)
  • Graduated from Sterling HS in 1991 and Sterling College in 1995, both in his hometown of Sterling, KS
    • Played basketball at NAIA Sterling College for four seasons under head coach Jim Woudstra
  • Started his coaching career on the JUCO level, working as an assistant at Central CC (KS) for two years before getting elevated to head coach there in 1997
    • Later spent one year as an assistant at Cowley County CC (KS) before getting a job at Hutchinson JC (KS)
  • Spent seven years with the well-known Hutchinson program, working under coaches Tim Duryea and Chad Wintz
  • Hired in 2006 to be an assistant at Weber State under new head coach Randy Rahe
    • Spent sixteen seasons on Rahe‘s staff, including thirteen as associate head coach
    • During that time, the Wildcats went to three NCAA Tournaments and had an NBA lottery pick in Damian Lillard
  • Elevated to head coach at Weber in May 2022 after Rahe announced his retirement from coaching
