The Northeast Conference (NEC) has given the NEC Player of the Year award every season since 1982-83. Four players have won the award twice, the most recent being Wagner‘s Alex Morales (2021 & 2022). LIU Brooklyn is the program with the most winners (eight), followed by Robert Morris (six) and Central Connecticut (five). See also: NEC Coach of the Year
