- Hometown: State College, Pennsylvania
- Alma Mater: Saint Francis University (BA, 2000 & M.Ed, 2003)
- Played four seasons at Saint Francis under head coaches Tom McConnell and Bobby Jones
- After graduating in 2000, Krimmel joined Jones’ staff as an assistant coach
- Stayed on staff for twelve seasons, the last four were under Jones’ successor Don Friday
- Named head coach at his alma mater in 2012, quickly taking the Red Flash from a 5-win team in his first season to a CIT berth in year three
- Krimmel’s teams have been to three CITs during his tenure, going 1-3 overall in CIT competition
- Won a share of the 2019 NEC regular season title, earning NEC COY honors and an automatic NIT bid
