- Alma Mater: College of Wooster (BA, 2000) / Miami University (MA, 2002)
- Graduated from Bexley HS (OH) outside of Columbus, then played at D-III Wooster (OH) for longtime head coach Steve Moore
- Started his career at Miami (OH) as a graduate assistant on Charlie Coles‘ staff; later returned for five seasons as an assistant coach there
- In between stints in Oxford, Pedon spent three years as an assistant under Jim Christian at Kent State
- Also spent three years working under Tod Kowalczyk at Toledo and John Groce at Illinois
- Joined Chris Holtmann‘s staff at Butler as an assistant coach in 2015 and two years later followed Holtmann to Ohio State
- In seven years working under Holtmann, Pedon was a part of six NCAA Tournament appearances
- Hired in March 2022 to be the next head coach of the Illinois State Redbirds
