- Played four years at Northwestern for head coaches Kevin O’Neill and Bill Carmody; twice earned All-Big Ten honors
- Worked in wealth management after graduating while also coaching the Illinois Defenders AAU program
- Returned to Northwestern in 2006 as an assistant under Carmody; promoted in 2011 to associate head coach
- Left NU for Georgetown in 2013 when Carmody was fired, spending the next three years as an assistant under Hoyas’ head coach John Thompson III
- Joined Josh Pastner‘s staff at Georgia Tech in 2016, spending two years as a Yellow Jackets assistant
- Hired in March 2018 to become the head coach at Loyola (MD); went 66-110 in six seasons before stepping down in March 2024
