- Born January 15, 1979
- Hometown: Kansas City, Missouri
- Alma Mater: Creighton University (BA, 2002)
- After a standout career at North Kansas City HS (MO), Huss played four seasons for Dana Altman at Creighton; appeared in three NCAA Tournaments
- Started his coaching career at the prep level, spending two seasons as an assistant at Decatur Eisenhower HS (IL) (2004-06) and one as head boys’ coach at Decatur Christian HS (2006-07)
- Huss was the head coach at Culver Military Academy (IN) from 2007-10 and at La Lumiere School (IN) in 2010-14
- Coached a number of future D-I players at both schools and had an incredible 102-19 record at La Lumiere (was 62-0 at home)
- Moved on to the college ranks in 2014, becoming an assistant under head coach Craig Neal at New Mexico
- Returned to his alma mater in 2017 and spent the next six seasons working on the staff of head coach Greg McDermott
- Part of four NCAA Tournaments and the program’s first-ever Big East title during his tenure with the Bluejays
- Hired in March 2023 to be the new head coach at High Point in the Big South
- In his first year at the helm, led the Panthers on a remarkable turnaround and won the Big South title outright; Huss named Big South COY – the Panthers finished as 2024 CBI runners-up
