  • Hometown: Kansas City, Missouri
  • Alma Mater: Creighton University (BA, 2002)
  • After a standout career at North Kansas City HS (MO), Huss played four seasons for Dana Altman at Creighton; appeared in three NCAA Tournaments
  • Started his coaching career at the prep level, spending two seasons as an assistant at Decatur Eisenhower HS (IL) (2004-06) and one as head boys’ coach at Decatur Christian HS (2006-07)
  • Huss was the head coach at Culver Military Academy (IN) from 2007-10 and at La Lumiere School (IN) in 2010-14
    • Coached a number of future D-I players at both schools and had an incredible 102-19 record at La Lumiere (was 62-0 at home)
  • Moved on to the college ranks in 2014, becoming an assistant under head coach Craig Neal at New Mexico
  • Returned to his alma mater in 2017 and spent the next six seasons working on the staff of head coach Greg McDermott
  • Hired in March 2023 to be the new head coach at High Point in the Big South
