  • Alma Mater: University of Idaho (BA, 1995)
  • Born in Dallas, Perry graduated from Justin F. Kimball HS (TX) then initially played basketball at McLennan CC (TX) from 1987-89
  • Went on to play point guard for the Idaho Vandals and head coaches Kermit Davis and Larry Eustachy
    • Helped take the Vandals to the NCAA Tournament in 1990 and was voted the team’s MVP in 1991
  • Started his coaching career in 1995 as an assistant under Eustachy at Utah State, then followed him to Iowa State in 1998
    • Spent three seasons total at ISU, the last two as associate head coach, and was part of two Big 12 titles and NCAA Tournaments
  • Hired by his alma mater Idaho in 2001 to be the head coach, serving in that role for the next five seasons
    • Went 48-97 overall, never finishing above .500 and was removed as head coach in 2006 after a 4-25 season
  • Moved on to the pro ranks, spending five years with the Indiana Pacers as an assistant/scout under Rick Carlisle and Jim O’Brien
  • Reunited with Eustachy at Southern Miss in 2011 and then worked under him again at Colorado State from 2012-16
    • During that time was part of two more NCAA Tournaments (one at each school) and an NIT berth in 2015
  • Hired in 2016 by new Pacific head coach Damon Stoudamire to be associate head coach, working in that role for five years
