  • Hometown: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
  • Alma Mater: Slippery Rock University (BS, 1992)
  • After playing at both Butler County CC (PA) and D-III Greensboro College (NC), became head coach at Northgate HS in his native Pittsburgh
  • Earned his degree at Slippery Rock University (PA) while also working as a high school assistant coach
  • Became a volunteer assistant at D-II Slippery Rock in 1992 and after one year was hired as the head coach at nearby La Roche College
  • Joined in Division I ranks in 1997 as a member of Larry Shyatt‘s staff at Wyoming, following him to Clemson the following year where he would work as an assistant until 2003
  • Became an assistant for Scott Drew at Valparaiso in early 2003 and followed Drew to Baylor less than two months later; was an assistant at Baylor until 2009 when he was hired to be the head coach at North Florida
  • Driscoll is just the fourth head coach in UNF’s program history and only the second since the school moved to Division I in 2005
  • Along with his wife, Carrie, has two sons
