- Played professionally for 12 years, spending time with teams in Finland, The Netherlands and several teams in Belgium
- Started coaching career in 2005, serving as an assistant coach under Mike Gillian at Longwood for two years
- Rejoined Larrañaga in 2007 at George Mason; followed him to Miami (FL) four years later and worked there for four seasons
- Hired in April 2015 to become the head coach at his alma mater Bowling Green
- Went 126-125 in eight years at BGSU; won 21+ games in both 2018-19 and 2019-20
- In March 2023, Huger was fired following an 11-20 season and second-straight 9th place finish
- The following month, Huger became the associate head coach at Temple under new head coach Adam Fisher
