Alma Mater: University of Texas (BA, 1999)
Graduated from Beverly Hills HS (CA) and started his college career with coach Pat Fuscaldo at D-II Sonoma State (CA)
- Transferred to Texas where he was a member of Rick Barnes‘ first team; won the 1999 Big 12 title
Began his coaching career first as a graduate assistant then as video coordinator under Barnes at UT
- In between those two stints, he spent one year as video coordinator under Wayne Morgan at LBSU
First assistant job was one year at UTSA under Tim Carter; then spent six years on Frank Haith‘s staff at Miami (FL) before returning to Southern California to work under Rodney Terry at Fresno State
Reconnected with Haith for one season at Tulsa before joining Barnes at Tennessee in 2016
- Spent three seasons as an assistant and three as associate head coach, during which time the Vols went to four NCAA Tournaments and won a SEC title (in 2018)
Hired in March 2022 to be the new head coach at East Carolina in the AAC
