- Played for four seasons at Brown for head coach Glen Miller, helping the Bears earn an NIT berth in 2003
- Spent one year playing professionally with Killester BC in Ireland
- Returned to Brown in 2005 to be an assistant on Miller‘s staff
- Followed Miller to Penn in 2006, where he spent three years as his assistant and then an additional three years coaching under Jerome Allen
- Hired in June 2012 to be the head coach at his alma mater, Brown
- Led the Bears to the 2014 CIT in his second season on the job and the 2019 CBI five years later
