  • Alma Mater: Manhattan College (BS, 2015 & MS, 2017)
  • The Bronx-native played high school basketball at All Hallows HS and then spent a post-grad year at the Robinson School (NJ)
  • Played four seasons at Manhattan for head coach Steve Masiello and was a team captain as a junior and senior
    • Part of the Jaspers’ teams that won back-to-back MAAC Tournaments to earn automatic NCAA bids (2014, 2015)
  • Joined Masiello‘s coaching staff as an assistant coach in 2017 after earning his masters’ from the College
    • Elevated to associate head coach in 2019, spending three seasons in that role
  • In October 2022, just two weeks before the start of the season, Masiello was fired and Stores was named interim head coach
    • Went 12-18 (10-10) overall at the helm; 10 MAAC wins was the most for the program since 2014-15
  • Joined the staff of new NJIT head coach Grant Billmeier in April 2023 as an assistant coach
