  • Alma Mater: Lamar University (BA, 1989)
  • After a stint as a student assistant on Tom Abatemarco‘s staff at Lamar, Roccaforte began his career at formerly Division I Centenary College in Shreveport, LA, where he was an assistant under Tommy Vardeman for four seasons
  • Spent four years on Perry Clark‘s staff at Tulane, two years under Steve McClain at Wyoming and three years under John Calipari at Memphis
  • Returned to alma mater Lamar in 2003 as one of Billy Tubbs‘ assistants, serving in that capacity for three seasons
    • Tubbs stepped down to focus on his AD duties in 2006 and selected Roccaforte to be his replacement
    • Roccaforte went 76-78 in three seasons as the head coach, but was fired in 2011 – the same year Tubbs retired as AD
  • Hired that same year as an assistant at South Florida, working with the Bulls for three seasons under head coach Stan Heath
  • Next up was a four year stint at Virginia Tech – three as an assistant and one as associate head coach – under Buzz Williams
  • From 2018-2021, Roccaforte was the associate head coach for Joe Dooley at East Carolina
  • Reunited with Williams in June 2021, joining his staff at Texas A&M as an assistant coach
