List of SWAC Coach of the Year winners

The Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) has awarded SWAC Coach of the Year honors every season since at least 1990-91 (records TBD). Seven coaches have won the award three times, most recently Byron Smith of Prairie View A&M. Alcorn State is the program with the most awards (nine), followed by Texas Southern (eight) and Mississippi Valley State (five). See also: SWAC Player of the Year
