- Alma Mater: University of Notre Dame (BS, 1996)
- The NY-native attended Notre Dame, where he was a student manager for the men’s basketball team and coach John MacLeod
- Was a Distinguished Military Graduate from Notre Dame’s Army ROTC program
- First coaching jobs were at D-II Christian Brothers (TN) assisting Tom Crowley and Mike Nienaber, then at D-II Saint Michael’s (VT) where he was one of Tom O’Shea’s assistants for two seasons
- Next he worked under Tom’s brother, Tim O’Shea, for seven seasons at Ohio, where he was part of the Bobcats’ 2005 NCAA Tournament bid
- Served in the United States Army for 10 years throughout the start of his coaching career, taking a break from his tenure at Ohio in 2004 to serve a 18-month tour in Iraq with the 113th Engineer Battalion during Operation Iraqi Freedom
- Earned a Bronze Star for meritorious service in 2005 and received an honorable discharge from the Army in 2006
- Spent one year at Butler on Brad Stevens‘ staff, then two at Ohio State working video for Thad Matta
- Served as an assistant for seven years – including four NCAA Tournaments – at Dayton under Archie Miller and then for four seasons with two more NCAA bids at Davidson under Bob McKillop
- Reunited with Matta in 2022, spending one season as one of his assistants at Butler
- Hired in March 2023 to be the head coach at Army West Point in the Patriot League
