List of Big West Coach of the Year winners
The Big West Conference has awarded Big West Coach of the Year honors every season since 1977-78. The league was known as the Pacific Coast Athletic Association (PCAA) until 1988. Jerry Tarkanian is the coach who has won the award the most times (seven), followed by Bob Thomason (five). The programs with the most awards are current member UC Irvine and former member UNLV (seven each), followed by Pacific (six), Utah State, UC Santa Barbara and Long Beach State (five each).
