Full list of Great Midwest Conference (GMWC) men’s basketball regular season and tournament champions, including head coach, by year. The Great Midwest Conference was established in 1990 and began competition with the 1991-92 season with six members: Cincinnati, DePaul, Marquette, Memphis State, Saint Louis & UAB (Dayton joined in 1993). In 1995, the original six members joined up with schools from the dissolving Metro and Southwest to form Conference USA.
