- Born December 7, 1950
- Was the head coach at Seguin HS (TX) for thirteen seasons and Temple HS (TX) for three seasons
- Joined the Baylor staff in 1993, becoming an assistant under Darrel Johnson
- In 1994, Johnson and seven other staffers were fired by Baylor due to academic fraud
- Miller was named interim head coach, then got the permanent gig following the season
- Had to deal with loss of scholarships and tremendous player and coach turnaround
- Went 56-87 in five total seasons at the helm, highlighted by a 18-12 record in 1996-97
- Inducted into the Texas High School Basketball Hall of Fame in 2013
