- Alma Mater: Coppin State University (BS, 1997)
- The Baltimore-native played basketball and lacrosse at Woodlawn HS (MD) and Catsonville CC (MD)
- Began his coaching career at St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, during which time he also enrolled at Coppin State
- Became a full-time assistant at Coppin State in 1996 under head coach Fang Mitchell
- After three years at CSU, Skeeters spent four seasons working under John Robic at Youngstown State
- Returned to the East Coast in 2003, working under Seth Greenberg for one year at Virginia Tech and then under Pat Kennedy for five seasons at Towson
- Next assistant coaching roles were at South Florida (under Stan Heath), George Mason (under Paul Hewitt and Dave Paulsen) and UMBC (under Ryan Odom)
- Was part of a NCAA Tournament at USF, then for UMBC’s historic NCAA upset of 1-seed Virginia in 2018
- Hired to be the head coach at Delaware State in July 2018, his first head coaching opportunity
- Went 15-67 over three seasons and in April 1, Skeeters, along with head women’s coach David Caputo, was let go
- Along with his wife, Marie, has two sons
