- Alma Mater: Gettysburg College (BS, 1995) / West Chester University (M.Ed, 1999)
- Played four years at Division III Gettysburg (PA), serving as team captain his senior year
- Started his coaching career at Lansdale Catholic HS in Philadelphia
- Spent two years as an assistant at D-III Beaver College (now Arcadia U) under Chris Mooney, with whom he had coached at Lansdale
- Took over as the head coach at Beaver College in 2000 when Mooney left for Air Force
- After two years coaching at Springfield HS (PA), McGeehan joined Mooney‘s staff at Air Force for one season
- Followed Mooney to Richmond a year later, spending three years as an assistant and then five more as associate head coach
- Hired as the Campbell head coach in 2013, leading the Camels to back-to-back postseason appearances in his fourth and fifth seasons on the job
- McGeehan’s team won a share of the 2019 Big South regular season title behind senior guard (and Big South POY) Chris Clemons, one of the top six career scorers in NCAA history, earning an automatic NIT bid
- Along with his wife, Melissa, has two sons and one daughter
