  • Played basketball at Itawamba CC (MS), John C. Calhoun (AL) and D-II Albany State (GA)
  • Started his coaching career at Columbia HS in Decatur, GA before joining the coaching staff at Lawson CC (GA)
  • Spent one season as an assistant under Eddie McCarter at D-II West Alabama before returning to Lawson in 2009 to be the head coach
    • Went 82-46 in four seasons at the helm, highlighted by a 25-6 record in 2010 with team being nationally ranked in the NJCAA and winning the ACCC North Division title
  • Worked for one year each as an assistant at Southern Poly (GA) and at D-I Jackson State under Wayne Brent
    • Returned to Lawson again for a second stint as head coach, this time just for one year (2015-16)
  • Spent the next few years at the prep and grassroots levels in Georgia, including a stint at Starr’s Mills HS
  • Arrived at North Carolina A&T in 2019, spending the next ~3 seasons as an assistant under Willie Jones
