  • Went on to play for legendary coach Bob Knight and the Indiana Hoosiers from 1996-2000
    • Was team captain as a senior and earned Third-Team All-Big Ten honors
  • Started his coaching career in 2002 as a graduate assistant on Knight‘s staff at Texas Tech
  • Spent one year as an assistant under Danny Kaspar at Stephen F. Austin and then six seasons working under Mike Miller at Eastern Illinois
  • Returned to his home state in 2011 to be an assistant under Brad Stevens at Butler, and stayed at Butler for five seasons, also working under Brandon Miller and Chris Holtmann; was a part of four NCAA Tournaments, including one Sweet Sixteen
  • Spent three seasons at Nebraska as an assistant under Tim Miles before heading out West to join Mick Cronin‘s staff at UCLA
    • Was at UCLA for three seasons, including the Bruins’ surprise run to the 2021 Final Four
  • Hired in March 2022 to be the head coach at Ball State, a return to his home state
