  • Was All-State at Pomona HS (CO) and then was a star player for Don Meyer at D-II Northern State (SD)
  • Started his coaching career at NAIA Black Hills State (SD) as an assistant under Paul Sather, then spent two seasons on Meyer’s staff at his alma mater
  • Hired in 2008 to be the head basketball coach and athletic director at Sheridan College in Wyoming
    • Went 153-43 in six seasons at the helm and was twice named NCJAA North Region COY
  • Moved up to D-I ranks in 2014, spending two seasons assisting Randy Rahe at Weber State
  • Spent four seasons as Jeff Linder‘s associate head coach at Northern Colorado, a return to his home state
    • Was part of the staff that won the CIT in 2018 and won 21+ games in three-straight seasons
  • Elevated to head coach at Northern Colorado in March 2020 after Linder left for Wyoming
    • Is 64-61 through five seasons, including a trip to the 2022 CBI semifinals; went 19-13 in 2023-24 and was named Big Sky Co-COY
