  • Alma Mater: Middle Tennessee State University (BA, 1988) / Lincoln Memorial University (M.Ed, 1990)
  • Played at Middle Tennessee under coach Bruce Stewart before starting his coaching career in 1988 as an assistant at D-III Maryville College (TN)
  • Became the head coach at D-II North Greenville College (SC) in 1992, going 44-41 (.518) overall in three seasons
  • Spent one year as an assistant to Jan van Breda Kolff at Vanderbilt and four under Buzz Peterson at Appalachian State before becoming the Mountaineers head coach in 2000
    • Won 137 games and three SoCon titles in nine years with App State, making one NIT trip in 2007
  • Joined Bruce Pearl‘s staff at Tennessee in 2009 as the coordinator of video scouting and was promoted to DBO by new Vols head coach Cuonzo Martin in 2011
  • Rejoined Peterson as an assistant at UNC Wilmington in 2013, then in 2015 became an assistant to Mark Price at Charlotte
  • Was hired in May 2018 to be Director of Operations and Player Development with the NC State women’s basketball program
