  • Four-year starter and two-year captain for head coach Joe DeSantis at Quinnipiac
  • Started coaching right away, spending one year as a grad manager at Hofstra under Tom Pecora and then two years as one of Larry Harrison’s assistants at Hartford
  • Two more assistant roles included one year at alma mater Quinnipiac under DeSantis and then three years as an assistant at Fordham under Dereck Whittenburg
    • Five games into the 2009-10 season, Whittenburg was fired and Grasso was elevated to interim head coach; he went 1-22 in 23 games at the helm
  • Hired in 2010 to be an assistant at Iona under Tim Cluess; elevated to associate head coach a year later
  • Named the new head coach at Bryant in April 2018; through three seasons he has an overall record of 40-44
    • After reaching the CBI in 2021, he led the Bulldogs to their first-ever NEC title in 2022; Grasso was named NEC COY, then led the team to the NCAA Tournament for the first time after winning the NEC Tournament
  • Along with his wife, Andrea, has one son
