  • Alma Mater: UNC Wilmington (BA, 1999)
  • Played three seasons at UNCW for head coach Jerry Wainwright, later spending one season as his assistant
  • Before coaching, played professionally in France and Germany; also joined the Irish National Team in 2001
  • Followed Brownell to Wright State as associate head coach, his position for four years before becoming head coach in 2010
    • Took the Raiders to one CBI, one CIT and three times won 20+ games during his six-year tenure
  • After being fired at WSU, Donlon joined John Beilein‘s staff at Michigan for a year
  • Spent two years as an assistant under Chris Collins at Northwestern (also a native of Northbrook, IL)
  • Hired in March 2019 to be the new head coach of the Kansas City (formerly UMKC) Kangaroos
  • Reunited with Brownell in April 2022, becoming the associate head coach at Clemson
  • Married to the former Melissa McCracken
