- Born April 12, 1964
- Hometown: Wheeling, West Virginia
- Alma Mater: US Naval Academy (BS, 1987)
- Attended Wheeling Central Catholic HS and played under late head coach Skip Prosser, before going to the US Naval Academy
- Played at Navy for four seasons under head coaches Paul Evans and Pete Herrmann
- Was the Midshipmen PG alongside future Hall of Famer David Robinson, reaching the NCAA Elite Eight in 1986
- Served in the Navy until 1992 and also spent nine years (1990-99) as an assistant coach for the Midshipmen
- While at Navy, Wojcik worked under both Herrmann and Don DeVoe
- Joined Matt Doherty‘s Notre Dame staff in 1999, followed him to North Carolina a year later and worked there for three seasons
- Spent two years on Tom Izzo‘s staff at Michigan State, one as an assistant and then one as associate head coach; was on the staff in 2005 when the Spartans reached the Final Four
- Hired in 2005 to be the head coach at Tulsa, a program he helmed for seven seasons
- Won 140 games, went to two NITs and won the inaugural CBI in 2008
- Became the head coach at the College of Charleston in 2012, leading the Cougars to a 38-29 record over two seasons
- Fired in July 2014 after an investigation into potential verbal abuse of players
- Served as a special assistant to Mark Few at Gonzaga for one year
- Hired to be an assistant under Jeff Lebo at East Carolina in September 2017; stayed on staff for the remainder of the year – following Lebo’s resignation – under interim HC Michael Perry
- Joined Tom Izzo‘s staff at Michigan State in 2018 as the program’s recruiting coordinator; elevated to assistant coach in 2021
- His brother, Dave Wojcik, is also a collegiate coach, most recently serving as head coach at San José State
