List of MAC Coach of the Year winners

The Mid-Atlantic Conference (MAC) has awarded MAC Coach of the Year honors every season since 1969-70. The coaches to win the award the most times are former head coaches Bob Nichols (Toledo), Darrell Hedric (Miami OH) and Ben Braun (Eastern Michigan), with three awards each. Kent State is the program with the most awards (nine), followed by Miami OH (seven), Toledo, Central Michigan (six each), Ohio and Akron (five each). See also: MAC Player of the Year
