List of Southland Coach of the Year winners

The Southland Conference has awarded Southland Coach of the Year honors every season since 1965-66 (except for 1971 & 1972). The coach who has won the award the most times (four) is former Northeast Louisiana head coach Mike Vining. Stephen F. Austin is the two program with the most awards (seven), followed by Louisiana Tech and Nicholls (six each).
